What is a mermaid VIP?
Our Mermaid VIP ticket includes 1 adult and 1 child and is the key to special treatment, including some exclusive behind-the-scenes activities with the mermaids.
Here are some of the benefits:
No waiting in a long line for you! Be welcomed when you arrive at the Aquatarium with a special VIP-only check-in desk. When you check in you will receive a special VIP wristband, lanyard, and bag. VIPs will also get a Souvenir Mermaid Playbill, which is a full-colour guide to all the Mermaids you can see at the Aquatarium during your visit.
You will Learn about each of the mermaids, where they are from, and what they love to do. Perhaps you can even get a few signatures from the mermaids when you visit. Show off all the beautiful mermaids to your friends when you go back home!
Behind-the-Scenes
You and your little one will also get a behind-the-scenes peek at the backstage area for the mermaids. This is your chance to chat with a mermaid as they get ready to go out and meet everyone. Grab a selfie and ask some questions. See what it’s like to be a mermaid behind the scenes at the Aquatarium. This experience is only available to our VIP guests.VIPs like you will also get access to the Mer-lounge. This 20-minute experience is a small group, VIP-only visit for you and your little one with one of our mermaids. Your group will be escorted up into the VIP access-only Mer-lounge where you will be served one of our special mocktails and a snack. You will have an opportunity to talk with the mermaid, take pictures, get her autograph, and hear them tell you a story about their amazing life underwater. General admission holders will not have this access.
These are for our VIP guests only. Remember this cost is for 1 adult and 1 child and still requires the purchase of general admission. These Mer-mazing VIP tickets will be set up based on time, as there is limited space and we expect they will sell out!

How VIP Tickets Work
Here are some general guidelines to understand when purchasing the VIP Add-On to your general admission ticket. First, everyone is required to have a General Admission ticket. This will get you into the Aquatarium and enjoy everything that is included with General Admission.
If you wish to purchase the VIP ADD-ON you NEED to purchase according to how many people are in your party. Each VIP Add-On includes ONE ADULT and ONE CHILD. For instance:
- Mom and Child: 1 Adult General Admission, 1 Child General Admission & 1 VIP
- Mom with 2 Children: 1 Adult General Admission, 2 Children general Admission & 2 VIP
- Mom and Dad with 1 Child: 2 Adult General Admission, 1 Child General Admission & 2 VIP
- Mom, Dad, 2 Children (4-14) one child (1-3): 2 Adult General Admission, 2 Child General Admission & 3 VIP

Frequently Asked Questions
We have 50 parking spots right at the Aquatarium in Brockville’s only indoor lot! – rates are ONLY $2/hour (for non electric car charging spots). Just drive up the ramp off FLINT STREET and the garage door will open as you approach. Make sure to take note of your parking spot number and prepay at the machine using cash or Visa/MasterCard. From March 11th to March 19th the Aquatarium will have extended hours starting from 9 am to 6 pm every day during this time. Tickets sold will be Time Stamped so please stick to your chosen arrival time and plan to arrive 5-10 mins early to allow for check-in.
The Mermaids Experience is a very busy time and we do expect to sell out well before opening day. It is strongly recommended that if you do intend to join us this year you do not wait and purchase your ticket online on the day and time you’d like to arrive before they are gone.
There will be a separate check-in for all our VIP guests to make your check-in as seamless and fast as possible. Please arrive no earlier then 5-10mins of your booked time.
Due to the nature of this event changing your time and date may prove to be difficult and we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate any changes. If you cannot make your time or the day you booked please call us a minimum of 24 hours before your booked time and date and we will do our best to accommodate you.
